Best Day Trip From Kolkata... Option 1: BONGAON (EXOTIC DESTINATION)

Today I am going to introduce a new exotic destination called BONGAON (North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India). 

Some of people thinking What is the bullshit it is ? Why I am going to Bongaon? What is the unique point in Bongaon ? Then I told you guys chill!! .
There are some curtain points in Bongaon which is mostly beautiful and perfect for your leisure day trip. Please check it below:

1.  International Petrapole Border (India –Bangladesh Border): Petrapole Border is a one of the largest and busiest border in India.  Near about thousands of people are crossed this border each and every day.  If you want to see the parade and Flag down ceremony by BSF, the best time would be 5 pm in summer time and 4 pm in winter time. You can go and see it easily.

How To Go ?
If you coming by a car you will straight drive through the Jessore Road. It is 85 kms far from the Kolkata, India. But if you coming by train then you will catch the Bongaon local from Sealdah or Dumdum Jn. Railway station. Bongaon Jn. Is the last station in this rought. It will be near about 2 hours journey by train. After reach you will come out from the station and pick up a Auto from the auto stand. It is 5 kms far from the Bongaon railway station to Petrapole Border.



2.  The House of Bibhutibhusan Bandhopadhyay:  Bibhutibhusan Bandhopadhyay is a one of the famous Bengali writer in India who wrote “Pather Panchali”, “Chander Pahar” etc.. The Government made his house as a museum of his name and also made a beautiful park just beside his house and Ichamati River. You can spend your leisure time beside the Ichamati River.  A perfect vacation for your day trip.

How To Go ?
The place called Chalta Barrackpur is near about 6 kms far from the main town of Bongaon. The best way if you visit this place by car. Because the actual place is quite far from the main road and it is a Village area.

3. Bibhutibhushan Wildlife Sanctuary:   Bibhutibhusan wildlife Sanctuary or Parmadan Forrest is a one of the oldest Sanctuary park in West Bengal India. Basically it’s a dears and various of birds park. Within the Sanctuary campus there has a small bungalow or villa which is owned by West Bengal Forest Development Corporation, so if you want to stay here for a night you can but Rooms are totally subject to availability.

Some Food cost outside the Sanctuary:-
Egg Lunch/Dinner – 80/- per head
Fish Lunch/Dinner – 100/- per head
Veg Lunch/Dinner – 60/- per head
Breakfast with Luchi & Sabji – Rs.25/- per head

How to Go ?
Parmadan Forest is just 22 kms far from the main town of Bongaon. The best way to travel in Parmadan is by car.  Otherwise if you coming by train then you have to reach at Bongaon Station. After that take a Auto or Cycle Van to Motigunj. It will be approxly 15 mins drive. Then take a Auto to Kolom Bagan. It will be approxly 25-30 mins drive. Then take a auto to Parmadan. It will be approxly 30-35 mins drive.

So Guys, what you say, is it a perfect location of your leisure day trip or not? I am sure you already make a plan to visit Bongaon minimum once in a life. Haahahaahaa :)
Now guys I am telling you the another reason for come to Bongaon & that is famous “Kachagolla” which is made by Nolen Gur ,Sugar, and Chhena (unripened curd cheese made from water buffalo or regular cow milk). It is a most delicious desserts in the world.
